We are excited to present WeSC’s upcoming Spring/Summer season, which we believe will have a strong impact on the brand’s continuing development. We are also proud to introduce our Global Creative Director for Apparel; respected Swedish designer Carin Wester.

For the past ten years, Carin has been successfully designing for her own label, where she has gained huge respect for both her men’s and women’s collections. Carin’s mission at WeSC is to update the design of our lines whilst respecting the brand’s DNA, to target prime market positioning and to continue to pursue our aim of developing more premium streetwear collections. The heart of which lies in a careful blending of WeSC’s core design values with some truly fresh takes on streetwear, workwear and sportswear garments; in essence, the SS17 collection presents an unveiling of our new direction.

WESC Man

We are back in the game with a true streetwear line, demonstrating a strong foundation in basics, peppered with some trend driven pieces. Our objective is to deliver a strong, valid alternative in the market, with garments hitting the right balance of price and ‘soul’. The key elements reflect this new positioning: camo pants and jackets; stripes and graphic tees; printed coach jackets; basic field jackets; and checked shirts. The colour palette is dynamic, the ground colours being emphasised by carefully selected ‘pops’ and more on-trend tones. The collection reintroduces the strong WeSC logo in its original yellow as a throwback tribute to our early history.

We strongly believe in the satisfaction of our customers; from the true streetwear-spirited to the more grown up brand follower, without forgetting today’s younger generation, which ensures the continuing authenticity of the streetwear trend.

WESC Woman

The target woman for this Spring/Summer has a lot of attitude; hence the collection mixes sportswear statement garments with colourful fashion pieces and iconic streetwear elements. This results in endless wardrobe combinations, delivering silhouettes that are feminine yet genderless. For example, the tape logo tee, paired with a lavender coloured tracksuit pant and a houndstooth car coat. The sneaker is available in a shiny patent leather with an oversized platform and Velcro closure; the bags are sporty and technical, printed fabric combined with fishnet layers. Summer makes its presence felt in the form of breezy graphics like the palm tree overall print or the colourful stripes elements of the collection.
